Alan, I am so excited to see your journey. Thanks for including me in your adventure so I can live vicariously through you. What a fantastic way to end your career of teaching! I think I would have chosen something more relaxing, like watching the sunset in an exotic location and reading a book. Enjoy the journey--Carol from Hawkeye
Carry lots of water, don't go off the road in the desert, call home every night, and enjoy your trip of a lifetime!!! Much more to write about than those commutes on Neal Smith Trail. Good luck!
