It's Getting Close

My life is currently entangled with my Kickr trainer and it is kicking my butt, but I can feel my physical improvement so it is OK. My Surly bike is boxed and en-route to a bike shop in San Diego where it will be reassembled, so I can pick it up. We leave on March 1 for San Diego to meet the group at a hostel and begin riding on March 6. My two 25 lb bags are close to ready. Our biggest concern is to make both bags small enough that they can be carry-on luggage. We will not put anything for the ride in checked luggage that can not be replaced before the ride. It's all a puzzle and a process that we are still working with.
