What Have I Done!

Okay, here’s the thing: I’m 70 years old and I’m going on a trans-continental bike ride.

Granted it’s an organized one with Adventure Cycling doing the organizing and providing van support, it's still across the country. The longest bike rides I’ve ever completed have been RAGBRAI (Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa) five different times as well as multiple portions of RAGBRAI over the years. Denise and I rode our first RAGBRAI, RAGBRAI IV in 1976; we were 23. Honestly, that’s where we really learned how to ride a bike. While I do have some apprehension, I am very excited!
